Synergy 2020 – NWO Social Sciences and Humanities Event

On 6 February 2020, NWO-SSH organises for the third time her yearly conference, Synergy. During this leading event for social sciences and humanities (SSH), researchers, directors, policymakers and professionals from societal organisations involved in SSH research will meet. As part of the event, NWO-SSH is organising ‘The Synergy Award’, a vibrant competition for PhD students with opportunities to learn and exchange with professionals. PhD students are challenged to come up with exciting ideas for impact on society stemming from their PhD work. A selection of candidates will get the opportunity to follow a pitch training and improve their idea in interactive sessions during the conference on 6 February. The winner of the SSH Synergy Award 2020 will receive € 2500 to be used for the realisation of the idea.

PhD candidates who want to participate have until 6 December to submit their ideas. Participation is possible up to 6 month after the promotion date. More information can be found here: www.synergy-ssh.nl/synergy-award
